Reservations for The Federal Inn are available online or over the phone. Payment is through credit or debit card. Please call (419) 206-2528 to book over the phone. Or through www.thefederalbnb.com and clicking the "reserve" button. In order to secure your reservation, a valid credit card is required.
For group bookings, please call or email us to secure your group reservation. Group reservations are not available via the reservation link.
A one-night deposit is required to secure your reservation, and due 7 days prior to your stay.
The deposit will be refunded if a cancellation is made 7 days prior to your reservation. Cancellations with less than a 7 day notice will not be refunded unless the room can be rented. The innkeeper looks forward to your arrival between 3pm and 5pm. If you cannot arrive during these times please notify the inn as soon as possible to best accommodate your arrival.

Guests are responsible for any and all damages. We welcome you to enjoy your stay, however, please understand that damages to our linens and rooms is significant to a small business.
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, smoking is not permitted inside the inn. A $250 cleaning fee will be assessed should a guest choose to smoke indoors. The innkeeper lives on the property, and is available for a 24/7 concierge service, should guests need assistance.
Due to the age of the home, The Federal Inn is not ADA accessible.
While your furry friends are cute, The Federal Inn is unable to accommodate your pet(s).
Breakfast is included with your room rate. As part of the immersive experience, guests are invited to enjoy a sit down meal in the formal dining room or in the seasonal screened in porch.
Room rates are based on double occupancy and names of the individuals staying is required as part of the reservation. If parties arrive with more than 2 persons, additional room(s), if available, will need to be rented or the reservation will be forfeited with the charge of the one night room deposit.
Room rates are quoted per night, single or double occupancy. Each room accommodates a maximum of 2 adults.
Only registered guests are allowed in or on the property. No visitors, friends, family guests of guests, extra people of any kind or tours are permitted. In the case that additional parties are discovered in or around the property on behalf of a registered guest, may result in a $300 fine.
Please no seance or ouija board use while staying or renting the Inn.
While life can be unpredictable and plans are subject to chance, we request a cancellation seven (7) days or more of the check-in date to guarantee a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than a seven (7) day notice will result in the loss of your deposit. Reservations for all 3 rooms available have a 14 days cancellation policy, and a 50% non-refundable deposit taken at the time you make your reservation.
